New ZX bridge
The LW3 is also available with a ZX bridge configuration, that enables the laser head to move along those 2 axes.
It can now mark very large parts from one end to the other, extending the effective marking area from 300 x 300 mm to 875 x 300 mm (34.45 x 11.81 in).
Integrated touchscreen
Control the marking process with the 7 inch color touchscreen.
Select jobs that are loaded in the machine and securely mark your parts.
Automatic and secure door
The 3 sided-door has been designed for ease of access and easy loading of the part.
When the marking job starts, the door automatically closes, and then reopens when it finishes. You can check the state of the permanent marking through the 380 x 210 mm protective window.
In addition, its opening adds no extra height to this class 1 laser machine.

The way the LW3 is built offers many possibilities for large direct part marking.
Obviously the size of this workstation inherently allows for big parts to fit in and receive their unique identifying number.
Indeed the enclosure has one of the best indoor heights, and can hence host parts up to 628 mm high.
In addition, this industrial laser station is equipped with a large metal table with rails and grooves for part and holder positionning.
If you need to mark parts bigger than the LW3, a Class 4 override accessory can permit marking while the door is open.
Thanks to its Class 1 laser certification (international standard for the highest laser security level), the LW3 ensures that the operator and workplace stays safe.
The door automatically closes before the marking is launched, securing the laser beam within the laser marking machine’s enclosure. The operator can then observe the laser marking through the dedicated secure window, without needing protective glasses. In addition, sensors check if the door is closed.
Finally, the LW3 and touchscreen are ready to pilot an exhaust system, for smoke and particle extraction. Because, during the laser marking, fumes and particles can be generated and need to be extracted to proper filtration systems.
The LW3 is one of the few industrial laser stations to not continuously require a PC or laptop to work.
Would it be a barcode, 2D code, text, date or logo, the marking job is created thanks to one of our industrial software: Lasertrace or Gravostyle™. It is then sent and hosted within the LW3.
This means that the marking files are accessed and launched through the attached touchscreen, adding autonomy to our workstation.
This laser marking machine can mark large, but also series of small to medium parts. This marking method is also referred as batch marking.
With its available marking area and the optional ZX bridge’s stroke, the laser marking head placed within the LW3 can mark lots of parts.
As a supervisor, you can program every step of the batch marking process through our industrial software:
This preparation drastically reduces operator errors. The press of a button launches the batch marking.
For a galvanometric laser station of its size, the LW3 only weighs 200 kg.
When positioned on our dedicated trolley, it then can easily be moved around for commissioning, or if its permanent marking capabilities are needed elsewhere.
The workstation trolley, optional wheels and relative light weight make the LW3 an easy to move large laser engraver. You can reassign and adapt it to various industrial creation processes.
